Ermelo's Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) is elated to announce its inaugural 100% matric pass rate. This remarkable achievement marks a milestone in the school's history, setting a new standard for academic excellence in the region.
The class of 2023 showcased exceptional performance across various subjects, with Afrikaans First Additional Language, English Home Language, Mathematics, and others achieving perfect 100% pass rates. Business Studies and Life Science secured an impressive 94% pass rate.
With a total of 27 distinctions, NPSS students displayed outstanding academic prowess. Among them, 54% attained bachelor passes, 42% received diploma passes, and 4% earned higher certificates.
Individual excellence shone through with the head boy and head girl, Luyanda Matunywa and Owethu Nkabinde, respectively, achieving remarkable averages and clinching six distinctions each.
