The Ermelo Warriors 1st Team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Sasol 2 Bulldogs by 10 wickets in a one-sided encounter. Sasol were bowled out for 109 in 22.1 overs, never managing to gain momentum.
The Warriors’ bowling attack applied consistent pressure throughout the innings. Henry Randell (2/22), Nico Randell (2/23) and RJ Kinnear (2/24) shared the wickets, restricting Sasol to a modest total despite Theunis Snyders’ 34 at the top of the order.
The run chase was a formality, as openers Evan Kemp (51) and Adam Barnard (44) put on an unbeaten partnership. The Warriors reached 111 without loss in 21.3 overs, rounding off a clinical all-round display.
