The Ermelo Bowls Club hosted another successful social bowling morning on Wednesday, 11 February, bringing together senior residents and community members for a relaxed and enjoyable day on the greens. The monthly event continues to create a welcoming space where friendship, light-hearted competition and community spirit take centre stage.

Games were organised by dedicated club members, ensuring that everyone could participate and enjoy the morning. After the matches, players were treated to refreshments, a meal and sweet treats, rounding off the gathering in true Ermelo hospitality style.

Those who took part included Gogga, Sybil, Kobie Bezuidenhout, Susan, Rina, Joey Scheepers, Marietjie Hurter, Willie, Tilla, Goodness, Jopie, Marietjie, Anna, John, Miem, Johan, Eljo, Koos and Prince — each contributing to the vibrant atmosphere on the day.

A sincere word of thanks was extended to Penny's Recycling and Ouma Rooi Koeksisters for their continued sponsorship, as well as to the club members who assist visitors with enthusiasm and care.

The next social bowling morning is scheduled for 18 March, and community members are encouraged to diarise the date and join in for another memorable morning of bowls and fellowship.
