Netherlands Park Secondary School hosted its first-ever Grade 8 concert, The Mirror at the Gate, on 6 March at the school hall, marking a memorable milestone for the institution.
The colourful production showcased the creativity and energy of the school’s youngest high school learners, leaving attendees impressed with the overall performance and atmosphere.
The concert was organised by the school’s RCL learners, who were tasked with bringing the event together.
One of the learners described the experience as both demanding and rewarding, noting that while coordinating the Grade 8 learners was not always easy, it ultimately made the process even more enjoyable.
The success of the event has set a strong foundation for what could become a highlight on the school’s annual calendar.
