Ermelo SAPS has issued a warning to residents following an increase in housebreaking incidents affecting homes and businesses in and around Ermelo. Community members are being urged to remain vigilant and take extra precautions to protect their properties.
Among the safety tips shared by SAPS are keeping doors and windows locked, installing security measures such as alarms and CCTV cameras, avoiding advertising travel plans on social media, and reporting suspicious activity immediately. SAPS also encouraged neighbours to look out for one another as part of building a safer community.
