Local athletes Helene Coetzer and Lara Bruwer continued their strong run of form by securing another podium finish at HYROX Johannesburg this past weekend.
The pair, who previously earned a podium position at HYROX Cape Town earlier this year, competed in the Pro Mixed Teams division and completed the event in an official time of 1:08:02. Their performance earned them second place in their category and fifth place overall in the Pro Division Mixed Teams rankings.
The result adds to an already successful HYROX season for the duo, who have consistently featured among the top competitors at national events.

Coetzer also achieved a second podium finish during the weekend. She teamed up with her father, Nico Steinberg, in the 50–54 age group division, where they secured third place.
The father-and-daughter team's result highlighted another successful outing for the local athletes, who returned home with multiple podium finishes from the Johannesburg event.
