Young athletes from Ermelo Primary School have earned their spots on the Msukaligwa primary athletics team.
Leading the charge is Lethu Mkhaliphi, who demonstrated prowess in the 100m sprint, 150m race, and 150m hurdles. Alongside him, Lwazi Motha impressed judges with an impressive performance in the high jump, showing remarkable agility and technique.
Uma Thwala and Amahle Vilakazi proved their speed in the 80m and 100m sprints, showing their determination and dedication to their sport.
The next step in their journey awaits as these talented youngsters gear up for the Mpumalanga team trials scheduled for 23 February 2024. If successful, they will proudly represent their school and community as part of the Mpumalanga team.
