The Ermelo Country Club recently hosted a series of exciting golf competitions, which drew local golfers to the club and showed outstanding performances.
I.P.S Sundowner Club Competition
The I.P.S. on Friday, 14 June 2024, saw remarkable play from Wors Prinsloo, who took the top position with 20 points. Derek Fick followed closely in second place with 19 points, tied with Johan Hildebrand, who scored 19 points but placed third based on a count-back.
Bonus Bogey Club Competition
The Bogey Club Competition was on Saturday, 15 June 2024. Sion Delport emerged victorious with a score of +5, showcasing his exceptional skills on the course. Maans Sandenbergh secured the second position with a score of +3, while Belinda Howard finished third with +2, making it a tight contest among the top players.
Better Ball Club Competition
The weekend's highlight was the Better Ball Club Competition on Monday, 17 June 2024. This event featured pairs competing for the top honours. Bart and Sion Delport claimed the first position with an impressive score of 46. Danie and Celia van der Walt matched this score, securing the second position based on the competition rules. Johan v Greunen and Johan Hildebrand took the third spot with a score of 44.
