This past weekend, Ermelo High School (EHS) delivered an exceptional performance against Hoërskool Hans Moore in the NWU-8 Series winter sports matchups, securing victories across rugby, netball, and hockey.
In rugby, EHS showcased its dominance by winning all matches across different age groups. Both junior and senior teams displayed remarkable skill and teamwork, with the first team securing a solid victory.
The netball teams also had a successful outing, winning most of their matches. Despite a closely contested game in the U/15 B division, EHS demonstrated resilience and sportsmanship across all age groups.
The hockey teams delivered outstanding results, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams winning all their games. The first-team boys played an exceptional match, scoring multiple goals and maintaining a clean sheet, while the girls’ teams dominated their opponents with impressive teamwork and strategic play.
EHS will now shift its focus to the next round of the NWU-8 Sports Series, where they will take on Hoërskool Lydenburg in an away match. With this level of performance, the Erries are set to continue their winning momentum.
