ERMELO – Frustrated residents are being called to take part in a silent protest against Msukaligwa Local Municipality’s ongoing service delivery challenges. The demonstration is scheduled for Friday, 5 September 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00, with organisers urging participants to gather along Church and Voortrekker Street. Residents are encouraged to wear coloured T-shirts representing their grievances—white for electricity, yellow for potholes, and blue for water—while carrying placards to express their frustrations.

“This is not the time to just moan and grumble about bad service delivery on a utility group. Show your disgust and disapproval on 5 September 2025 between 11:00–12:00. Bring your banners and placards with a good slogan. You could win a prize. Hope to see hundreds of fed-up Ermelo residents standing in Church and Voortrekker Street,” the Democratic Alliance (DA) said in a statement.
