Msukaligwa Local Municipality has issued a public notice mandating the conversion of all residential conventional (post-paid) electricity meters to pre-paid, citing Council Resolution LM921/08/2025 and a reviewed tariff policy aimed at improving revenue collection. The municipality says the change is effective immediately and applies “regardless of whether consumers have applied for this change or not.” Residents are urged to act promptly to avoid disruptions. For enquiries, the notice lists the Contact Centre: 0800 014 903.
