The Ermelo Warriors 2nd Team secured a hard-fought victory after chasing down a challenging total against Bethal Bears Old Boys, winning by three wickets. Bethal posted 211 all out in 39.1 overs, setting up a competitive contest.
Bethal’s innings was built around Warren Allen (81) and Tiaan Swart (57), but the Warriors’ bowlers kept the scoring in check. Allen was the standout with the ball as well, claiming an impressive 4/15, while Tielman Erasmus (3/40) and Johardt Swanepoel (2/14) provided solid support to bowl Bethal out.
