South Africans are being encouraged to check their voter registration details ahead of the upcoming voter registration weekend scheduled for 20 and 21 June 2026. With only 33 days remaining, the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) is urging eligible voters to ensure they are registered at the correct address before election day.
The IEC said checking a voter’s registration status online takes less than two minutes and can help avoid complications when voting. Residents who have recently moved or changed addresses are especially encouraged to update their details to ensure they are linked to the correct voting district.
