According to a notice issued by NPSS, a deep pothole, possibly a sinkhole, has developed at the final T-junction connecting Gelderland Road, Feniks Avenue and Witteveen Avenue near the school.
The affected section is located on the approach to the school from the Merino Mall and Morgan Nissan area and is frequently used by parents, scholar transport operators, pedestrians and other motorists.
NPSS has warned that the damaged section poses a potential safety risk to both vehicles and pedestrians. Road users are urged to exercise caution when travelling through the area and to consider using alternative routes where possible.
Motorists are reminded to reduce speed, remain alert and watch for pedestrians, particularly during peak school traffic periods.
