Mpumalanga to mark Mandela Day with community upliftment projects in Ermelo

The Mpumalanga Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport, alongside the Msukaligwa Local Municipality, is encouraging residents to take part in this year's Mandela Day activities on Friday, 17 July, by joining a series of community upliftment initiatives in Ermelo and Wesselton.

The programme, which begins at 09:00, includes the refurbishment of the Sibanesihle Stimulation Centre in Wesselton, a clean-up of the Ermelo Long Distance Taxi Rank, and the handover of operating licences. The initiative forms part of Mandela Day celebrations, promoting the spirit of giving back and community service inspired by Nelson Mandela's legacy.
