The engines weren't the only thing revving at the Legend Fest, as IRA High Performance Centre (IRA HPC) brought the energy with a HYROX challenge.
As part of the Ermelo Toyota Legend Fest 2026, held on 20 June, IRA HPC transformed the dealership's workshop into a HYROX arena, where visitors of all ages and fitness levels had the opportunity to test themselves on a well designed challenge course.
IRA HPC supplied all the equipment, while its staff managed each station, encouraging participants and ensuring the experience remained safe and enjoyable throughout the day.
According to IRA HPC, one of the highlights was seeing first-time participants step out of their comfort zones and embracing the challenge. The organisation said it was rewarding to watch so many people discover HYROX in a supportive and energetic environment.
The HYROX challenge formed part of the wider Legend Fest, which also featured the launch of the new Toyota Hilux with 4×4 expert André de Villiers, a driving experience, a vintage car show, a potjiekos competition, food stalls, live entertainment and family-friendly activities. The event also served as a community fundraiser, with proceeds supporting local charitable initiatives, including efforts to raise funds for a new roof at a local animal shelter.
