Two suspects were arrested and dagga with an estimated street value of R80,000 was seized after police intercepted a vehicle in Secunda on Saturday, 26 September.
According to SAPS, the vehicle had failed to stop when instructed by police in Ermelo. The Secunda Flying Squad received a request for backup, and officers, supported by the Ermelo K9 Unit, stopped the vehicle in the Brendan Village area of Secunda.

Police said they found the dagga while searching the vehicle. The two suspects are expected to appear in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on charges of dealing in dagga.
Mpumalanga Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Apaphia Modise commended the officers for their response and coordination.
