Msukaligwa Local Municipality has published rotational load reduction schedules for Ermelo and surrounding areas for 12–18 October 2026. The schedules identify potential evening interruptions by area. The municipality notes that load reduction will only be implemented when the electricity network is strained and that technicians may adjust the schedules without notice for safety and network stability.
