A Dullstroom man has been sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment for the rape of a 38-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter during a violent attack at their home in December 2022.

A neighbour subsequently alerted police, and both victims were transported to hospital. The child was discharged after three days, while her mother remained hospitalised for approximately two weeks.

Mabuza was arrested on 28 December 2022.
