Kare Bearz, in partnership with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), is gearing up for their much-loved annual Jail & Bail Blood Drive, set to take place on 28 November from 9:00 AM at Merino Mall SANBS. This fun and community-spirited initiative invites residents to “nominate” their boss, colleague, or friend for a playful “arrest,” turning the experience into an opportunity to donate blood and help save lives. Each pint of blood donated has the potential to save up to three lives—making this event a festive-season gift that truly matters.
The organisers encourage the community to come out in support, donate blood, and get involved in the light-hearted fun while contributing to a vital cause. With the holiday season approaching, SANBS continues to emphasize the need for consistent blood supply, and events like these bring the community together in a meaningful way.
