Ligbron’s U/15B cricket team secured their second win in two weeks against Hoërskool Ermelo on 16 September. Playing a T20 match, the Erries posted 119/9, but the Liggies replied with 123/2 in the 14th over to take the match by 8 wickets.
Captain Michael Ronquest made a strong contribution with both bat and ball. He claimed 3 wickets for 23 runs and later scored 72 runs from 47 balls. Ruan van Zyl also stood out, taking 2 wickets for 27 runs and adding 19 runs from 9 balls.

On 15 September, Ligbron’s first girls’ cricket team played against Hoërskool Piet Retief. Chasing a total of 121, the Liggies reached the score in the 20th over to end the game in a draw. Nabihah Jassat batted well and finished with 30 runs from 31 balls.
