On Friday, January 24, EHS tennis players joined the athletics team on a trip to Midstream College for their first matches of the season.
Both the boys' and girls' teams, each consisting of six players, competed in singles and doubles matches. After the long holiday, this offered them the perfect opportunity to loosen their joints, shake off the effects of holiday festivities and get fired up for a fired up season.
The players had a fantastic time, channeling their spirit and energy into their matches and cheering on the athletics team in between. Congratulations to Midstream College for securing victories in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions.
EHS Tennis is now in full swing and gearing up for more matches later in the first term!
