SAPS Amersfoort has confirmed that one person died in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on the N11 on Sunday, 30 November 2025.

Initial information from the scene suggested that both drivers had died; however, authorities later clarified that the second driver — who had been trapped and unresponsive — was found alive and received medical assistance.
Emergency services attended to the scene for several hours as investigations and recovery operations were carried out. The circumstances leading to the collision remain under police investigation.
