Motorists are being urged to exercise caution and avoid Jansen Street, where a trench has been dug across the road as part of a construction project.
According to information received, allegedly more than 10 vehicles have already become stuck in the ditch, particularly during night-time when visibility is reduced.

The trench has since been temporarily filled with sand, making it possible for vehicles to cross. However, the surface remains unstable and may still pose a risk.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible until the road has been fully repaired and deemed safe for regular use.
