Two athletes from IRA HPC, Edna Maharaj and Lourika Klopper, recently showcased their fitness and determination during the Deadly Dozen competition held in Johannesburg on 9 May.
Competing in the Women’s Doubles Masters 45–49 category, the pair delivered an outstanding performance to finish in 2nd place with a time of 53 minutes and 9 seconds.
The Deadly Dozen is a high-intensity fitness race featuring 12 x 400m runs combined with 12 labour stations, testing both endurance and strength.
IRA HPC congratulated the pair on their strong performance and achievement at the competition.
