A total of 26 gymnasts from Ermelo Gymnastics participated in the Gauteng Gymnastics Festival held in Centurion from 12 to 15 June. A total of 1,200 gymnasts from Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo took part over the four days.
The gymnasts competed on four apparatus. At the end of the competition, medals were awarded based on the average score achieved across all four apparatus.
