Ermelo came alive with the sound of roaring engines when the fifth round of the South African National Rally Championship was held in the town on 21 and 22 August.
Hoërskool Ermelo served as the rally headquarters and service park throughout the weekend, while its grounds also provided the setting for Friday evening’s thrilling night stage. The school became the centre of the rally experience as crews, spectators and motorsport enthusiasts gathered for the two-day event.
The INGCO Ermelo Rally proved to be a major success, delivering plenty of speed, dust and closely contested action across the stages surrounding the town.
