Five cases of murder over the weekend

Ermelo SAPS reported that police are investigating five murder cases that occurred in separate incidents the past weekend.
According to the police report released by Ermelo SAPS spokesperson Capt Prinsloo, the first murder occurred on Friday when a 34-year-old male was assaulted and died due to his injuries. His body was discovered Friday night at a stand in Mavundla Street, Wesselton. A 42-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident. According to the police report, it is believed that the deceased and suspect resided at the same address and had an argument which led to the murder. The suspect was due to appear in the Ermelo Magistrate's court on Monday, facing a charge of murder.
