On Monday, 6 March, Ermelo residents were advised that a protest was underway at the Ermelo Provincial Hospital. Members of NEHAWU (National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union) had blocked the entrance to the hospital while protesting the Government's proposed wage increase.
