South Africa, Lesotho and Zimbabwe are currently battling it out in the 9th All Africa Tug of War Championships at the Pirates sport grounds.

Two teams from each country will challenge each other in the five divisions.

The men will participate in the 640 kg and 720 kg divisions while the women will contest the 500kg and 520kg divisions.

The mixed team (three males and three females) will compete in the 600 kg division.

The event started yesterday with the u/23 men's and women's competitions.

Today club teams from the three countries competed in the five divisions.
