A 30-year-old Mpumalanga farmer, Pieter Johannes Grobler, has been arrested for allegedly repackaging and selling expired and rotten food to unsuspecting retailers. Acting on a tip-off from a reliable source, law enforcement uncovered a large-scale operation where food originally meant for animal feed was instead being resold for human consumption.
