On Monday, a 33-year-old man was arrested on allegations of deliberately fabricating a case of hi-jacking. According to the police report, the suspect opened a hi-jacking case in Ermelo. He then informed police that his Toyota Hilux bakkie had been hi-jacked at Ermelo at approximately 11:45 on 23 September 2021.
