On Friday morning, just after 06:00, the repair work at the 88/11kV substation commenced. Four areas in Ermelo are affected and will be powerless for the duration while replacing switchgears at the substation.

According to the notice Msukaligwa Local Municipality (MLM) posted on its Facebook page, the repairs will continue until 16:00 on Monday, 22 November 2021. The reason for the planned power interruption is to replace 11kV indoor switchgears.
