Bumble Bee Aftercare is urgently looking for an Aftercare Teacher to join their team in 2026 as homework loads increase and more hands are needed.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise children
• Collect learners from school
• Provide meals
• Assist with homework
• Set up tests and exams
• Additional duties will be discussed during the interview
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Age: 25–35
• Basic maths knowledge
• Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
• Must be able to read and write Afrikaans
• Sober habits & strong personal cleanliness
• Hard worker with good teamwork skills
• Passion for working with children
• Patient, fast, and reliable
• Able to discipline and be firm when needed
• Previous aftercare/teaching experience is advantageous
Working Hours:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 12:30 – 17:15
Wednesday: 12:30 – 17:30
Friday: 12:00 – 17:15
School Holidays: 07:00 – 17:00 (one day per week)
