Schools reopened on 14 January 2026, and the school grounds at Laerskool Ermelo were filled with excitement as its newest learners arrived for their very first day of school.
An impressive 138 Grade 1 learners took this big step, many with oversized schoolbags, bright smiles, and a mix of nerves and excitement. From meeting new friends to exploring their classrooms, the day marked the start of a brand-new adventure in learning.
Teachers and staff welcomed the youngsters with open arms, helping them feel right at home as they begin what promises to be a fun, memorable, and rewarding school journey at Laerskool Ermelo.
