Laerskool Ermelo students showcased their athletic prowess in a highly competitive cross-country event held in Middelburg on Saturday, 20 July. Young athletes across various age groups participated, marking impressive performances by Laerskool Ermelo's representatives.

Results Overview

0/13 Boys: Lungani Magagula secured the 58th position out of 82 participants.

0/13 Girls: Kuhlekonke Shabangu achieved 55th place, while Nozipho Msomi followed closely in 66th out of 80 participants.

0/12 Boys: Mngobi Shongwe finished 70th among 102 runners.

0/12 Girls: Siphuthando Mthethwa earned the 59th spot out of 93 participants.

0/11 Boys: Wenzokuhle Nkosi placed 14th in a competitive field of 84.

0/11 Girls: Zenani Mashata came in 62nd out of 83 runners.

0/10 Boys: Ntandoyenkosi Moshe impressively ranked 17th among 111 participants.

0/10 Girls: Nolwazi Dhladhla finished 61st out of 84 runners.

0/9 Boys: Onke Phakathi placed 66th in a group of 69 participants.

Mr Eugene Oosthuizen, the dedicated coach of the Laerskool Ermelo cross-country team, expressed his pride in the students' performances. "I am incredibly proud of each one of them. They have shown great determination and spirit. We are looking forward to the next cross-country event," he said.

Laerskool Ermelo encourages and nurtures young talents, aiming for even better performances in future events.
