Ligbron's rugby department thrives in the Noordvaal Cup Plate Division, where they compete against major schools like Westvalia, Zwartkop, and Oos-Moot. The school is one of only three in Mpumalanga – alongside HTS Middelburg and Hoërskool Middelburg – to participate in this elite league.
