Ligbron's first rugby team received a prestigious invitation to show their talents at the Outeniqua 101-Year Sports Festival, marking a significant milestone for the school. The event saw a formidable lineup of teams from across the country, including Outeniqua, Framesby, Pearson Langenhoven Gimnasium and others.

Amongst the teams, Ligbron and Noordheuwel proudly represented the northern region, demonstrating their determination and skill on the field. This opportunity allowed them to compete against top-tier teams and provided a platform to elevate their rugby prowess amidst stiff competition.

Although facing a challenging match against Oakdale Landbou, Ligbron's participation in the festival undoubtedly contributed to their growth as a team.

The scores from SuperSport Schools results highlighted how tough the matches were and the high level of competition at the event. This experience has made Ligbron's first rugby team stronger and better prepared to keep improving in the rugby world. We eagerly anticipate their upcoming rugby season.
