The under-15 Junior Mpumalanga bowling team excelled at the Gauteng Challenge, held this past weekend in Pretoria. Competing against formidable teams including JBA, BGN, Sedibeng, Sables, and Ekurhuleni, they showcased exceptional talent and determination.
After two days of intense competition, the team secured an impressive second place making Ermelo and the province proud.
The team includes three talented players from Ermelo—AJ Maherry, Janco Minnaar, and Pieter Swanepoel—along with Aiden Nel from Secunda. Their remarkable performance positions them as rising stars in the sport.
