Ligbron’s athletes participated in the Gert Sibande District Athletics Championships this past weekend. 17 athletes qualified for the Mpumalanga Athletics Championships held on 16 March 2024 in Secunda.
The five girls that will represent Ligbron at the Mpumalanga Championships are Lysencke du Plessis, Brenda Kirsten, Alzira Potgieter, Angela Brefo and Roxy Steenberg.
The following boys qualified for the Mpumalanga Championships: (front) Katleho Sibiloane, Siphosethu Mhlabini, Lwazi Sibanyoni, Darius Boshoff, Lebogang Lubisi, Luan Jansen van Rensburg and Lizwe Mkhumane.
