If winning medals was an Olympic sport, Laerskool Ermelo would already be on the podium! Last week alone, the school's athletes sprinted, jumped, and threw their way to an outstanding 136 medals—leaving the competition in the dust!
1 February 2025 – Athletics Meeting at Laerskool Pionier
On Saturday, 1 February, Laerskool Ermelo's athletes hit the ground running at Laerskool Pionier, bagging:
- 15 Gold Medals
- 31 Silver Medals
- 19 Bronze Medals
Trophy Winners:
- Masego Ramogale – Best Field Athlete
- Ntando Moshe – Best Field Athlete, Best Track Athlete, and Victor Ludorum
8 February 2025 – Athletics Meeting at Laerskool Piet Retief
One week later, on 8 February, they did it again at Laerskool Piet Retief, racking up:
- 26 Gold Medals
- 22 Silver Medals
- 23 Bronze Medals
Laerskool Ermelo was officially crowned winners of the day!
Trophy Winners:
- Masego Ramogale – Best Field Athlete (because one title just wasn’t enough!)
- Ntando Moshe – Victor Ludorum (again proving he’s the ultimate champ!)
With performances this good, it looks like Laerskool Ermelo’s trophy shelf might need an extension! Congratulations to all the athletes for their incredible achievements!
