Former Hoërskool Ermelo learner Kryn Romijn has secured gold at the Athletics South Africa (ASA) Track and Field Championships.
Romijn clocked an impressive time of 45.79 seconds, currently placing him as the sixth fastest athlete in South Africa. He is also ranked 12th in the world for 2026.
The Ermelo community has congratulated him on the achievement, with the Erries expressing pride in their former learner.
