On July 27, 14 students from Summerfields participated in Laerskool Ermelo’s Oratory Competition, delivering outstanding performances across all grades. The event was a significant success, showcasing the talents of young speakers from various schools.
Summerfields' students excelled in each category, with the following learners proudly representing their school:
- Grade 1: Avumile Madonsela and Lerato Denhere
- Grade 2: Zahra Vally and Tehzeeb Shah
- Grade 3: Sulaymaan Moogalia and Zayd Bhagalia
- Grade 4: Mishkah Jassat and Shravan Sudeep
- Grade 5: Tebogo Makhudu and Yaseen Jina
- Grade 6: Munize Jassat and Ilhan Saley
- Grade 7: Adeena Sindhi and Zayyaan Jassat
Notably, several Summerfields students secured top honours in their respective groups. Sulaymaan Moogalia took first place in the Junior Group. In the Middle Group, Mishkah Jassat claimed first place, Tebogo Makhudu second, and Shravan Sudeep third. Munize Jassat earned a second-place finish in the Senior Group.
