NPSS has introduced its newly elected Learner Representative Council (LRC) for 2025.
This council consists of 42 students: ten Grade Elevens, evenly split between boys and girls, and thirty-two Matrics, equally divided by gender.
The LRC plays an essential role at NPSS. It is tasked with upholding the school's rules and image while assisting educators with various school events throughout the year. The new members have already assumed their duties, as the outgoing Matric LRC of 2024 has begun their trial period. This ensures a smooth transition and continuity in leadership.
A team-building camp for the new LRC is scheduled for 19 September to strengthen teamwork and leadership skills. Next term, voting will take place to select the council's Heads and Deputies, with the results announced at the prizegiving ceremony in Term 4.
The school is confident that this group of learners will represent NPSS with pride and commitment in the coming year.
