The Mpumalanga provincial darts team returned from the Darts South Africa Nationals at Wildcoast (12–19 July 2025) with a notable podium finish. In Division 4, the Lekwa Ladies secured third place, earning bronze in a field of strong provincial competitors.
The Lekwa Ladies squad—comprising Sharmilla Harrilal, Anitha Ince, Maureen Olivier and Karen Naidoo—emerged victorious in the playoff for third place after a week of singles, pairs and team events.
Overall, 11 players represented Mpumalanga across the various disciplines. While the Lekwa Ladies stood on the podium, the remainder of the team gained valuable exposure to top-level competition, facing opponents from Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and beyond.
