Ligbron athletes delivered an outstanding performance on Friday, 6 February, at the athletics meeting hosted by Hoërskool Bergvlam, bringing home an impressive total of 100 medals across various track and field events. The team’s strong showing also included trophies for two Junior Victor Ludorum winners.
A total of 30 athletes secured gold medals, 30 earned silver, and 37 claimed bronze.
Ligbron also dominated in the relay events, with five teams earning gold medals: the U/14 girls, U/14 boys, U/15 girls, U/15 boys, and U/16 boys. The U/19 boys capped off the day with a strong bronze-medal finish in their relay race.

Adding to the school’s achievements, Milla Dippenaar and De Villiers Dippenaar were each awarded the Junior Victor Ludorum title, rounding off a highly successful outing for Ligbron at Bergvlam.
