MSUKALIGWA – Executive Mayor Alderwoman M.P. Nkosi officially handed over the Everest Park Water Infrastructure Project to the appointed contractor on Tuesday, 4 August, marking the start of construction.
The Ward 1 project includes the installation of a one-megalitre elevated steel water tank and the construction of a booster pump station.
According to the Msukaligwa Local Municipality, the new infrastructure will strengthen the area’s water system and contribute to a more reliable water supply for residents of Everest Park and surrounding communities.
The project forms part of broader municipal efforts to upgrade water infrastructure and improve access to reliable basic services across Msukaligwa.
