The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms affecting Ermelo and other parts of Mpumalanga from 13:00 until 22:59 on Saturday, 10 October.
Severe thunderstorms may cause localised flooding, damage to property and infrastructure, and disruptions to municipal services due to lightning. Residents are urged to exercise caution, particularly on roads and near low-lying areas and bridges.
