Midway 2 – Fresh Produce Market is looking for a reliable and well-presented Shop Assistant – Cashier (Full-time) to join their team at Midway 2.
Requirements:
• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased.
• To scan / enter items accurately on POS system as well as bag / pack the items carefully for the client.
• To ensure the safe and honest handling of cash / client cards at all times.
• To make customers aware of promotions in order to positively affect sales.
• To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering friendly and professional service.
• To efficiently execute and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
• Be able to work retail hours, shifts, weekends & public holidays.
• Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
• Maths 50% and English 50% + any Additional Language 50% at Grade 12 (Matric) level.
