Agrico is looking for a reliable and well-presented Irrigation Technician to join their team in Ermelo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and technical support of current and new irrigation systems.
Requirements:
- Install & troubleshoot pumps: Borehole and centrifugal pumps.
- Wire & install irrigation systems: Install and wire Centre pivots and their components.
- Technical support: Provide Web Control support to clients.
- Project management
- Code 08 driver’s licence and own transport
- Matric (Compulsory)
- Proficient in Afrikaans and English
- Honest, diligent and earnest
- Willing to work overtime or flexible hours
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy
- General knowledge of irrigation systems
- Experience in pump installation and centre pivot wiring
- Knowledge of pumps, filters, borehole pumps, variable frequency drives (VSD’s)
